Matriculants Urged To Make An Application For NSFAS Funding

Because the 2024 National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations kick-off, Higher{Education and Training Minister, Dr Nobuhle Pamela Nkabane, has reminded all matriculants to seize the chance to submit an application for funding through the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).
"The applying window will shut on 15 December 2024, and there are actually not many days left to submit applications. Suitable learners are urged to apply immediately to secure monetary help for his or her post-school education," Nkabane said.
Nkabane extended well wishes to all matriculants, who sat for the National Senior Certificate Examinations, with learners writing languages, English and Afrikaans Paper three.
Nkabane said this pivotal moment marks the culmination of several years of hard work and encourages the Class of 2024 to approach their examinations with perseverance and self-assurance.

The PSET system consists of:
• Community Education and Training (CET) colleges: Featuring skills development and general education for students who want to carry on learning.
• Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges: Focusing on practical skills and technical knowledge to equip students for employment and self-employment.
• Higher Education institutions: nsfas contact details Universities and higher education providers offering degree and diploma programmes.
